Ice chest to bring home your fish, a camera, water, drinks, & snacks. Basic resident fishing license and saltwater license.
What to Wear?
Jackets & raincoats at appropriate times, sunscreen, sunglasses & a hat.
How long is a typical charter?
6-8 hours is typical but we do not put a time limit on our charters. We may catch our limit of fish early and be done early on some days and other days the bite may be slower and you may be out until later in the afternoon. We bring you out and try to give you the most enjoyable charter possible doing what it take to make sure you have the best experience!
What is the best time to come?
Anytime you have the day off! We fish 365 days a year, Redfish season is year round and Trout season is from March to November.
What happens if there is bad weather?
Weather on the Gulf Coast can be 
forecasted and other weather appears seemingly out of no where. If the weather is forecasted to be adverse for the day of your charter your captain will contact you in advance of your charter to discuss the weather. If the weather appears, your captain will discuss the conditions with you on the day of your charter. We try to make all charters happen on their scheduled days if at all possible. If the weather is a safety concern the captain will cancel the charter. All deposits will be moved to the next mutually agreeable date. What type of license is required?
The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries has a $10 3-day Charter Pass you can purchase on their website, or you can pick one up at a store on your way to Venice. Please note the marina DOES NOT sell fishing licenses.

How many people can you accommodate?
We can accommodate groups of any size. We have a 28' boat that will accommodate up to 5 people. If you have a group of 6 or more, we have a network of reputable captains we can book for your group.
Should we bring our own tackle?
There is no need to bring your own tackle we have high-end/well-maintained tackle that is suited to fishing our area. However, if you really want to fish with your equipment you are welcome to, but there is a limit of one rod/reel per person.

Are discounts available if I book multiple days?
Unfortunately no. Due to the high volume of bookings, we are able to fill all of our days throughout the year. We keep our rates competitive with the average going rates in the area, yet we provide more than other guide services.
